Mark Thomas
Mark Thomas is a skilled physical therapist at Panetta Physical Therapy. He completed his undergraduate studies at New York Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University.
Mark’s journey into physical therapy was fueled by his involvement in sports, particularly as a runner in high school and college. Witnessing the critical role that proper rehabilitation plays in an athlete’s recovery and overall performance inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy. He was drawn to the idea of helping others overcome physical challenges and guiding them through their rehab journeys.
Specializing in orthopedic physical therapy, Mark enjoys helping patients recover from injuries, improve their physical function, and regain their independence. He is particularly drawn to the precision and problem-solving involved in this field.
Mark’s treatment philosophy is centered around individualized care, as he believes that each patient’s needs are unique. His patients often describe him as empathetic and personable, with a warm and welcoming demeanor that makes them feel comfortable and understood.
Outside of work, Mark runs a photography business focusing on engagements, proposals, and wedding ceremonies. He is also an avid runner, having completed multiple half marathons, and enjoys reading, playing spike ball, and spending time with his family
