Stephen Wiley, PT, DPT, the Clinical Director of the Roslyn and Glen Cove offices, stands out as a highly skilled and dedicated physical therapist. His journey in the field began when he obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University in 2014, earning recognition as a member of the esteemed Alpha Eta Honor Society. Prior to that, Steve showcased his academic and athletic excellence as a four-year member of the Men’s Track and Field team at Princeton University, specializing in the high jump while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in history.
With a wealth of experience across various clinical settings, Steve has continuously expanded his expertise. At Carillon Nursing Home, he provided comprehensive care to geriatric patients facing diverse disorders, including strokes and balance/conditioning issues. His skills further flourished during his time at Huntington Hospital, where he evaluated and treated patients in an acute hospital setting across units such as Cardiac and Pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and oncology.
Steve’s passion and primary focus revolve around outpatient orthopedic care, where he has made remarkable contributions. His proficiency extends to the Fitgolf program, which he leads, collaborating closely with both amateur and professional golfers. Drawing upon his extensive knowledge of body mechanics and fitness, Steve strives to optimize their performance on the course. Through tailored treatment plans and golf-specific goals, he enhances overall physical condition, refines swing mechanics, prevents injuries, and takes golfers’ game to new heights.
