Daniel Horowitz – Doctor of Physical Therapy, Panetta Physical Therapy

Dan was first introduced to the physical therapy profession while working at a sleepaway camp for developmentally disabled campers. Dan would assist the campers with functional activities, daily living skills, and any required needs. Majority of the campers had physical disabilities and required physical therapy which Dan would assist with. This is where his passion for physical therapy began.
Dan graduated from Stony Brook University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has experienced clinical work in various settings such as, pediatrics, inpatient rehab, and orthopedics. His appreciation of anatomy and how every body part works together drove him to focus on orthopedics. Dan also works as a physical therapist with the pediatric population at homes and daycares where he helps children to meet their developmental milestones.
Outside of the professional world, Dan enjoys playing sports, playing piano, hiking, spending time with his family, and participating in outdoor activities. Dan lives in Queens where he is a devoted member of his synagogue and his community.
